Blooming

Last month, we enjoyed the Wind Moon—a time for clearing and letting go of what we don’t want. I let that thought be a meditative focus and cleared out two closets and a room that had fallen into entropy. All of those spaces are now being put to much more useful effect!

May’s full moon is sometimes called the Flower Moon. For this month, I’m focusing on bringing in beauty and joy to fill some of that cleared space. I want to let happiness and health blossom in myself and my family, and will try to make choices that support our growth.

What will you focus on?

  1. Man, dat entropy tho…seriously. I’ve had that problem but with my stupid SCHEDULE. I’m working on it, though–you’re a huge inspiration in that department! So I’m trying to let helpful habits and self-care bloom b/c it helps ALL THE THINGS. Love this little post…thanks so much for sharing!

    1. Oh, wow. I didn’t even think of applying that meditation to my schedule. But I’m going to now! I’ve also been off the rails lately time-wise, because REASONS! Good reasons, but ones that are lessening now. Time to get back on top of things 🙂

      Glad you found this helpful!

  2. Back to my 1K a day or die schedule. The trick is, its for a book I really don’t like. I hope that this will fade and I’ll just keep plugging away. Also unpacking. Curtains in the living room. By the end of the month, I’m going to feel like I’m not camping out anymore.

    1. Oh no! Is there any way you can find to shift your perspective so that you do like the book? That can be a huge problem :S Email me if you need to chat more about it!

Good luck with the unpacking. I’ve lived out of boxes for long periods of time, and it’s no fun.
