Tomorrow, I’m going to have a last holiday surprise for you. I will give you two hints as to what it’s about: Continue reading “A Solstice Surprise…”
Month: December 2017
The Cold Moon
I’ve written in this space about full moons from time to time, reflecting on the meaning some of my ancestors attributed to each one. This year, I’m trying something different. I’m setting an intention at each new moon, starting today!
The new moon today will wax into the Cold Moon on January 1 (what an auspicious way to begin 2018!). I’ll be spending the rest of 2017 bundling up and snuggling with loved ones to stay warm, but also embracing the invigorating properties of cold. Continue reading “The Cold Moon”
Lessons Learned
The holiday season is always busy, and I find myself getting lost in to-do lists and missing out on really enjoying the wonderful experiences around me. Every year I tell myself I’ll do better the next year, but then forget how exactly I thought I might go about that.
When I Stopped Writing

Blades of Janus Bonus Story โ “Merry X-mas”
I had so much fun writing the bonus Blades of Janus short story, “Trick or Treat“, that I decided to stop in and see how Johnny Goblin, Scarecrow, and Spriggan celebrate Christmas. Of course, it’s as weird as you’d think ๐
Christmas is my favorite holiday, too, Johnny โค Some day, maybe you’ll learn to spell it right.
Please enjoy a peek into how three alien/Earth-Creature hybrids celebrate a holiday they adore and aren’t sure they quite understand.
(Psst… There’s also a video on my YouTube channel with me doing a reading of this piece, with imagery to accompany it ๐ ).
