Long Night’s Moon Progress 2019

The year is winding down quickly and the chill of the coming Winter is here. I’m enjoying the cooler temperatures (I guess I’m weird like that), and spending more time curled up with books. I’ve definitely been refilling my well lately, which is leading me to ever more possible paths forward.

This is the reflective time of year for me. The leaves fall from the trees, letting us see their true structure. All Winter long, I’ll think of this whenever I see them, and turn that awareness inward. When the inner structure is revealed, it’s easier to make necessary changes.

While this is all going on inwardly, in the outside world, I’m hard at work on Vaughn’s book! I found the source of my resistance, cleared it, and am making great progress with it. I can’t wait for this book to be in the world already! And the plans for the extended series arc for The Blades of Janus is just… It’s epic.

Working on so many series is definitely a challenge. I need to reflect on where I want each to go, how I want them to develop, and when each one should be brought into the world. It’s a lot to balance, especially with the rest of reality needing to be tended to! But what a fun challenge.

Pack 200

The greatest danger lurks beneath their skin.

Tessa has been as good as dead for seven years—ever since the dweller that killed her family decided to turn her into one of its kind. She’s kept the infection at bay while taking out as many dwellers as possible, but knows her time is almost up. Going out fighting was always her plan, until she meets a man with golden eyes and a touch that makes her want to change her destiny.

Marcus has dedicated his life to the Blades of Janus, hoping to build peace between humans and dwellers and find a place for himself in the process. He’s used the strength, speed, and heightened senses of his own dweller nature with that single-minded focus—but when Tessa Rhodes storms into his life, all he can focus on is her.

Tessa’s arrival upsets the balance among all the Blades in Providence, awakening an urge Marcus has fought since he was turned—the longing for a pack. If he can convince her not to kill him, to let him fight at her side, they stand a chance against the dweller who infected her—and maybe a chance at something more.
