It’s kind of crazy how many things are going on right now both in my writing and reality. Several months ago, I shared that our neighbor’s fence fell over, letting their absolutely amazing dogs roam between our two yards. We’ve been having so much fun playing with them over the summer, and it’s been great to get to know our neighbors better.
Alas, the fence is back up now, so we can only admire the pups from afar. We keep running to the back door and opening the curtain, then realizing there will be no doggos… But we can still arrange playdates. If it weren’t for the various allergies my family has, we’d definitely be getting a dog or two of our own (and lots of cats!).
