Happy October!

Happy First Day of October!

This is a month to celebrate. Not only does it hold Halloween, my second-favorite holiday, as well as cooler temperatures, tastier treats, and the promise of pulling out the knitting needles again, but this October is extra-special because Pets in Space® 4 is coming out this month!!!

Pets in Space® 4 is Coming!

I have awesome news. The Pets in Space® 4 anthology is available for pre-order!!!

The anthology releases on October 8th, 2019, and will include book 11 of The Department of Homeworld Security. Want to know more about Marq? Here comes your chance!

I am thrilled to be part of this anthology. Seriously. Being part of Pets in Space® was on my bucket list. This is a dream come true! Why, you ask?

Well, there’s the fact that I get to work with some of the best SFR authors writing today (S.E. Smith, Anna Hackett, Tiffany Roberts, Veronica Scott, Pauline Baird Jones, Laurie A. Seeing my name next to theirs on a cover? It is unbelievably awesome.

Okay, so we weren’t walking on a hiking trail, but the feeling of camaraderie was definitely there!

There is nothing as awesome as talking to my readers, and it was great to connect with so many of you.

Speaking of which, I’m going to be at the author signing for Show Me Your Books KC on Saturday, September 21, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST. I may also be doing a panel on Friday, September 20! I’ll let you know when I have more details. If you’re there, please stop by and say hi! Continue reading “Thank you!”

When I waste my energy on worrying, not only do I not have as many resources available to deal with things when they do go wrong, but when things go right (and they usually do) I’ve thrown away all that time that I could have been spending productively!

Mark Twain captured it best:

“I’ve lived through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.”
