The full moon in October is sometimes called the Blood Moon. I think about names that various cultures have given to the full moons each month to try to connect with the people who have walked this world before me and imagine what they were thinking when they came up with each name.

Harvest Moon Progress 2019

How are you doing? My progress toward my Harvest Moon goals hit a bit of a rough patch in the form of a late-Summer cold (hence the lateness of this post). I’m back on my feet and mostly recovered, but have a lot of lost ground to catch up on!

The Flower Moon in Full Bloom

So many projects are wrapping up right now, and they’ve bloomed wonderfully. I had a few things happen that I normally would worry about, but instead I paused, took a deep breath, and reminded myself to have faith in the universe. And so far, things are mostly working out πŸ™‚

When I waste my energy on worrying, not only do I not have as many resources available to deal with things when they do go wrong, but when things go right (and they usually do) I’ve thrown away all that time that I could have been spending productively!
