The last New Moon of the year is upon is! It’s the New Oak Moon. This is the oak tree in our backyard 💖
Oak trees make me think of strength and resilience. Though they might be slow to grow, their roots go deep and they can handle most storms that come their way. I think the message for me this lunar cycle is patience.
The Full Frost Moon is here today. I loved using the rune Isa to help me put in place habits that I want to keep. I think I’ll add that to my meditation toolbox! 
Today, the New Moon above us carries the energy of the Frost Moon that we’re journeying toward in this part of the world. It’s reminding me of the rune called Isa.
Isa is the rune of ice—a single, upright line. It can symbolize the stillness and frozen nature of ice, but thinking of it in terms of the waxing Frost Moon, it represents something more to me at this moment in my journey.
