The fifth novella in the Department of Homeworld Security series is done! Okay, well, it’s with my editor. But that means it’s mostly done, and I’m still celebrating!
This one might just have the cheesiest ending I’ve ever written, but I’m okay with that, because the whole story is sweet and it’s funny and so very, very weird and I love it <3

Stories centering around ad-hoc families are so dear to my heart. This is absolutely one of the strangest families I’ve ever written. A geeky cryptozoologist, a pair of four-armed Space-Sasquatches, and a super-sweet Sadirian soldier who’s more interested in celebrating cultures than assimilating them.
It seems an unlikely group, but it’s inevitable, really. Put these four in the same room, and they’ll be laughing and dancing together in an hour.
I can’t wait for you to meet them all. And it won’t be long! Entry Visa is coming out on July 25! And next week, I’ll have a cover reveal 😀
There’s lots more I have to say about this novella and how I experimented with a different frame and radically different hero, but for now, it’s on to the next one. I’m already super-excited to write book six, and will be experimenting with it, too—just in a different way.
Thank you for reading!
