Today is a full moon. February’s Full Moon is sometimes called the Snow Moon. In my Snow Moon Goals post, I mentioned that I was waffling between trying to take it a bit easier with my writing goals or trying to keep moving forward at a super-fast pace. Well, I tried to move forward, and metaphorically slipped down a hill with my writing 😆
Today is a new moon. February’s full moon is a couple of weeks away and is sometimes called the Snow Moon. We hadn’t seen as much snow as usual here this year, but then this week we were hit with sub-zero temperatures and a mix of snow and ice! We are hunkering down inside and staying warm with lots of cocoa and snuggles 😁
It’s been a while since I wrote a lunar post, so here we go! There’s a new moon today, and we’re heading toward the full moon sometimes called the Wolf Moon.
The Blood Moon is here, and reflecting back on this lunar cycle, it seems like the main thing I let go of is fear. It’s a timely sacrifice for this season, but I’m not talking about the spooky fun associated with Halloween.
This is the new moon before the Blood Moon, and wow… Just… wow. I realized that I totally blew by the actual Harvest Moon, as life has been intensely busy. Lots of harvests going on, and even more crops of new ventures being planted. But usually to make room for the new, we must let go of something. That’s where the energy of the Blood Moon comes in for me.
We’re heading toward the Harvest Moon, and I’m getting ready to harvest something that’s been ripening for almost two decades.
