Hey, everybody! I’m so happy to be able to share with you that Crafting a Writer’s Life: Building a Foundation is now available!
This book is me sharing some of what I’ve learned along my path to becoming a published writer. It covers the craft of writing as well as some of the things I’ve learned so far about the business side of building a writing career.
The book is short and to the point so writers can get back to their works in progress as quickly as possible. I hope it can give a boost to my friends in the final push of NaNoWriMo!
When I started on this journey, I really didn’t know what to expect. I hope to write more books like this as I continue to learn and that sharing my discoveries will help others along their writer’s paths.

This isn’t just a book about how to write—this is a book about how to be a writer.
My experiences along my writer’s journey have been incredible so far. I’ve had to stretch beyond my comfort zones, learn techniques to become more adaptive to the industry’s needs, and ask myself questions I had no idea were part of being a writer. I read many books about how to write, but didn’t find much in the way of handling the business side of things. This is me sharing some of what I’ve learned, in the hopes that other writers may gain some insight into the craft, the industry, and how one writer is handling the challenges involved in crafting a writer’s life.
