Welcome to Spring!

It’s the first day of Spring, and I couldn’t be happier to welcome this new season. Happy Ostara!

Purple Flowers

We had one final (I hope) snow this week, so maybe that will give us a bit of a reprieve before we have to start mowing the lawn 😆

I think I’m still on track to finish up the secret project this month and circle back to Cygnian 7 after that. The hardest part of writing a secret project is not sharing any of it with you! I wish I could tell you all the cool and exciting and funny and sweet stuff going on there, but it will have to wait!

I can tell you that I’m still super excited about Cygnian 7 and can’t wait to get back to those big, blue warriors. They have already thrown me several curve balls, but I’m figuring them out.

The tone of this series is definitely more intense than most of the books in the Department of Homeworld Security series. I really am enjoying that change and digging deeper into this universe.

Now that I have the tone down, edits and future books should come together much more quickly. I love the bits I’ve re-read so far. Action, excitement, romance, and of course, a healthy dose of humor. These books are thrill rides in the making 💖

I plan to launch the series this Fall. Wish me luck! I better get back to work!

Incidentally, I plan for my newsletter subscribers to get the first look at Nuar before the Cygnian 7 even launches! I’m just going to leave this here in case you’re interested in learning more about all the awesomeness going on in Cassland 😉 http://eepurl.com/duuT1z

While you wait, there’s still time to get caught up on all the Department of Homeworld Security stories—and most of them are now in two convenient omnibuses!  📚

Happy reading and enjoy the first day of Spring!
