Cold Moon Goals Progress

Looking back on my post for the new moon this month, I actually made a lot more progress than I realized! My planners for 2019 are set up (I actually have three of them), and though I haven’t mapped out exactly when I’ll be working on each writing project, I’m ready to roll with the next two—and I finished the novella I’ve been working on for way too long! That is some awesome progress.

My favorite thing that came out of this post, though, was a new mantra. Continue reading “Cold Moon Goals Progress”

Cold Moon Goals

The new moon this month has come and gone, and I’ve been busily working toward many goals. One of them, ironically, was to start blogging on each new moon about my focus for that month. Oops! Better late than never 🙂

Winter New Moon

Many cultures believe that each full moon carries with it an energy. As the moon waxes bigger, this energy increases. As it wanes, it pulls away what I’m ready to let go of. Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

However you mark the turning of the wheel of the year, I hope you’re all enjoying a bit of down time, lovely food, and nourishing company.

Holiday season can mean full schedules and empty energy wells. Around the holidays, it’s even more important to me to minimize time with people and activities that draw from my well and make an extra effort to take care of myself and my dear ones. Continue reading “Happy Thanksgiving Eve!”

When you become lost

There is so much information available to us today. Facts and opinions, trends and data sets, paths and experiences laid out by others that are so tempting to follow. It’s easy to become overwhelmed or even lost.

Both in writing and RL, I’ve been digging my way deeper and deeper into rabbit holes of information without realizing how far away from my light-source, my center, it was taking me. For my personal overall health and happiness, it is of utmost importance that I get that light to shine on my writer’s heart as quickly and purely as possible. Continue reading “When you become lost”
