Here’s another segment from Whispering Hearts, where Rachel finally tells Garrett about her abilities.

I have a strict “No Ghosts” policy in our house with very few exceptions. If anyone in the household mentions noticing anything that seems suspicious to me, I’ll go ahead and smudge the house or go through it with a drum or something (many cultures use sound to purify energy or spaces).

Even writing with a rough outline, I don’t really know what’s going to end up on the page until I’m in the moment with the characters.

I used to “cast stones” every day to help set my focus. I would take my favorite stones and gently toss them on a soft surface, then meditate on the patterns they landed in along with the meaning of the particular stone.
