A Quick Update

Hello, everyone.

Just a quick note for those of you who have purchased books from Samhain Publishing—they are closing at the end of this month 🙁 You’ll want to download any of your books from their site before they go dark on February 28. Here’s a link to the message they sent to their readers list.

Samhain is the traditional publisher who gave me my start and I have several books with them. I’m sad to see them close and had a wonderful time working with them.

When one door closes, another opens. This one comes with a cat! <3

I have an action plan to get my titles back up as soon as possible after I get the rights back. I’m not entirely sure when that will be, but will keep you posted. I’m really glad I’ve learned so much about Indie publishing in the last few months to make sure I can keep these titles available to readers who will love them <3

This is another reminder for me that it’s a good idea to diversify. I started Indie publishing last year and I have a submission in with a dream publisher (seriously, wish me luck! 😀 ). I also have a special call piece I’m working on to submit to another publisher that just came on my radar recently that I’m excited about.

And, of course, the stories must go on!

Everything is in order for “Second Skin” to be released next Tuesday, February 14. To celebrate, my short story “Second Sight” is free on Amazon starting today and running through February 14! Happy Valentine’s Day 🙂

“Second Sight” is a very sweet LGBT romance about people with superpowers trying to balance saving the world with having a normal life. If you haven’t picked it up yet, now’s a good time. It will get you ready for “Second Skin”, which is a prequel short story that gives you more background on the “big bad” of the series and shows you how his and Andi’s relationship started out.

More adventures are soon to come. Stay tuned!
