What’s making me happy this week: room to breathe.
I think it’s pretty apparent that I’ve been really, really busy for the past two years (actually, it’s more like three, with stuff going on behind-the-scenes). I had a vision for where I wanted my writing to be, and was intensely focused on getting there.
“Phase 1”, as I called it, was getting the first three Summer Park Psychics books out, and also getting the first two series arcs (six novellas) done for the Department of Homeworld Security. I took a little time to write a few extra pieces that were singing to me while working toward that goal, and there were plenty of hiccups along the way, but Phase 1 is almost complete! There’s even a bonus Homeworld story that I’ll be putting out in September <3
Phase 2 is all about connections. I get to venture out of my writing cave and actually talk to people! There’s a lot more room to breathe in Phase 2, and I’m already meeting awesome people and having tons of fun.
Phase 2 is also about exploration and new beginnings. I’ll be putting out the first in a six-novel series that is full-on paranormal romance this October. I can’t wait to introduce you to this world! Which reminds me… There’s going to be an introductory short story for this series that will only be available to my newsletter subscribers! You want to read this 🙂 Plus, my newsletter is full of cool goings-on in Cassland <3
While I work on this new series, I’ll also be writing more in the Blades of Janus series. I may even finish up the third series arc for the Homeworld series in 2018. We’ll have to see how it goes.
I’m having so much fun on this writing adventure. I hope you are, too! Thanks for joining me, and as always, thanks for reading!
