What’s making me happy this week: the process.
It’s a release week, so of course I’m super-happy about my latest title being out in the world. More than that, though, I’m happy because of going through the process of getting it there.

This year’s Quickening Moon finds me in a very different frame of mind from last year. There’s no fog, and I seem to have dealt with my winter colds in January (I hope!). Still, I don’t have the extreme focus that I’ve had for the last year and a half with my writing—and it’s a conscious choice.

Hi, everyone! I’m super excited to bring you not one but TWO cover reveals today! There’s a new cover for “Second Sight” and after the jump you’ll get to see both the new cover and the cover and title for the second short story in this series!
The first story arc in the world of The Summer Park Psychics is completed, but there’s much more in store for that universe. I’m not sure when I’ll be writing those stories, but I know it will happen eventually. Partly because I’m still living with one foot in their world.
I set myself an overly ambitious goal in December to finish a rough draft. I’m not sure I can even call it a goal. I’m not sure what was behind me thinking, “Gee, I wonder if I can write an 80,000 word novel while hosting family holidays and dealing with the busiest time of year for my life in general. Oh, and I’m giving myself a deadline in three weeks.”
