Lingering Touch

Today’s book for #ThrowbackThursday is the final installment of The Summer Park Psychics trilogy, Lingering Touch. This is by far the most suspenseful and action-packed of the three books. I had learned so much by the time I wrote it, and learned even more after publishing it.

Ever since I read the pivotal moment of “the flight of the queens” and Ruth’s hatching in Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series in several books from different points of view (POV), I dreamed of exploring that creative technique in my own stories. With Whispering Hearts and Lingering Touch, I took my first plunge into writing stories that ran in parallel to each other. You’ll see conversations in each book from the different characters’ POVs, getting a much deeper view into what was going on during those moments.

Could I have done it better? Undoubtedly. But the knowledge I gained, and the extra time spent with characters I love was absolutely worth it. I have to say that I consider Lingering Touch to be the strongest book in the trilogy. I hope you’ll give it a chance!

Chased into the arms of the man she can never have…

Wandering Soul

Hello, everyone! I’ve wanted to revisit my books in this space for a long time, so for the next while, I’ll be featuring a different book of mine on #ThrowbackThursday! What better place to start than the very beginning? Wandering Soul was the first book I ever had published, and started off with Samhain Publishing, Ltd. but is now Indie published by me. It’s my take on what would happen if The Phantom of the Opera came to modern times, with my own personal take on the theme.

She saved him from death, but can he open her heart to love?
