Monday Motivation — Be a Helper

There’s a famous quote from the amazing Mr. Rogers that’s often used in troubling times. “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”

I love this quote. It’s comforting. It’s true. It’s also a little hard to manage when the best thing we can do is stay at home. How do we see the helpers then?

Happy Autumn Equinox 2019!

Happy Autumn Equinox!

It’s the first day of my favorite season, Fall! The nights will start getting longer, the days hopefully will be cooler, and the leaves will soon begin revealing their true vibrant shades (do you remember those science lessons about the green color of chlorophyll masking a tree’s true colors? 💖🍁).

I was going to take a break from blogging this weekend, but I just watched Captain Marvel, and ODIN’S BEARD, IT WAS AMAZING!!!

Storm Moon Meditation

Today’s new moon brings us into the time of the waxing Storm Moon. We are two weeks away from Ostara, the Spring Equinoxthe first day of Spring! That this day also falls on the Storm Moon when it’s full only makes me more determined than ever to draw on this growing energy with my meditations.
