The Harvest Moon

Today is the full moon sometimes called the Harvest Moon. It’s a time to reap the benefits of all the hard work we’ve done, gathering the fruits of our labor in preparation for the colder months ahead.

HarvestMoon

Autumn is my favorite season, with Winter a close second. Knitting, writing, hot cocoa, and bundling up under soft blankets—these are all things I’m looking forward to. I’ve been working to prepare my house for the season so that I can enjoy the results of that work in the months ahead. Setting up my knitting box, clearing my writing space, and getting out those blankets!

This is an extra-special harvest moon for me, because it’s timed perfectly with me wrapping up all the “open projects” I’ve been working on for the series that’s been getting most of my attention for the last several months.

The creative fields of my mind have been cleared, and new projects are already growing strong from the seeds I’ve been planting for the next series. I can’t wait to venture out among those words, those characters, and that world. I hope you’ll come along with me ❤
