There is nothing like holding one of my books in my hands. The smooth texture of the paper, the scent of the ink, and the weight of all those words in tangible form gives me one of the strongest senses of joy and accomplishment I’ve ever experienced.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be able to read my stories in print and see them on my bookshelves. When I was younger, I even looked into buying a personal printing press. Now, I can make my own print books in an easier and more efficient means online—and share them with the world. It really is a great time to be an author <3
As the seasons change and I look for stories to snuggle up with, I find myself reaching for my own worlds to revisit old friends and prepare to expand their stories. And I am so eager to hold my next book in my hands, I can hardly stand it!
The first and second Forbidden Knights books have a lot of overlapping action and shared scenes (you get to see the same events from multiple perspectives, which is something I love as a reader). I’m hard at work getting the second book written so that I can tweak the first as needed to make sure everything lines up. The first book is still on schedule for a late October release! I’m hoping to have that print book in my hands by Halloween! <3
Wish me luck, and thanks for reading!
Oh, and if you haven’t picked up the fourth through sixth Department of Homeworld Security novellas in their print collection yet, here’s the link! It turned out gorgeous <3
