Corn Moon Progress — 2020

The Corn Moon snuck up on me today! I’m glad I noticed that full moon on our family calendar this morning.

Focusing on the things that help me grow and flourish has really paid off recently. I’m remembering the activities that fill my creative well, and shifting my resources to support more of that. The results have been great, especially in my writing.

Yesterday, I wrote over four thousand words on Perihelion, the third book in the Blades of Janus series. I also went back and added in foreshadowing of a major plot point and fixed an issue with a character’s name that was pretty extensive. It was really productive, and I feel re-energized about this series and writing in general.

Energy is at the crux of the Corn Moon. What gives us what we need to move forward? To move in the direction that’s best for our lives and our souls?

I think I’m finally getting back on track with how to restore and maintain my energy, and I can’t wait to use it to write, write, write!

And with that, I’d better get back to it. Wishing you a lovely August!
