Today is the release day for Business or Pleasure! It’s so great to have another Department of Homeworld Security book out in the world 😀 The entire series is a blast to write. This one is definitely my new favorite. It’s also special because it’s my first Indie novella release!
The novellas in this series are short, which is very much on purpose. I’m giving a glimpse into this universe with each one, keeping the stories light and fun. There are deeper strands going through them all, though, and I played with that a lot in Business or Pleasure.
There’s more action, higher stakes, and we get to see the Sadirian (Khel) and the Earthling (Paige) from the moment they meet till they realize they’re falling in love. That was probably the most fun aspect of the book for me. Watching them change, watching them change each other without even trying to, seeing how they adapted to each other and their new views of the universe around them. Yeah, this story turned out awesome 🙂
And, of course, it has all the hot alien action you would expect from a Department of Homeworld Security novella. Whew, does it ever! These two have an amazing amount of chemistry. I look forward to hearing what you think!
