Long Night’s Moon Goals 2019

Another new moon is here, and with it, another chance to set a new focus (or fine-tune an existing one). The Long Night’s Moon sounds like a good time to do some rest and reflection.

Instead of pushing for the word count, I’m going to focus on outlining several different projects. I have a new series arc starting up for The Department of Homeworld Security, and I’d love to get some work done on the Forbidden Knights. And, of course, there’s a lot to work out with The Blades of Janus.

I’m sure new words will be part of this all, but with the recent reminder of how much outlines help me write, I really need to get back to that!

Along with all this written creativity, I have covers that need to be updated! It’s such a thrill to be able to add “USA TODAY Bestselling Author” to my covers 💖 I am so grateful to all my readers!

All of that should be plenty to keep me busy, along with a new release (December 3!) and prepping for the holidays! I’m striving for better balance, and want to spend time reading and doing some self-care. My TBR pile has grown huge! And this seems like the perfect time of year to tackle that.

This is a wonderful time of year to dream. All that quiet darkness. All that possibility. And a new year just around the corner.

What about you? What will you do with this lunar energy?
