How are you doing? My progress toward my Harvest Moon goals hit a bit of a rough patch in the form of a late-Summer cold (hence the lateness of this post). I’m back on my feet and mostly recovered, but have a lot of lost ground to catch up on!
Still, I made some big strides in the past two weeks. There are many exciting things in the works in Cassland!
I made a bunch of progress on the third Blades of Janus novel, then hit a bit of a wall and needed to retreat into my psyche for a while and do some world building. That’s going great, and I’ll be ready to hit the keyboard for that project again soon! It’s already at 12k, which I expect to be closer to 15k when I go back and add in the elements that had been missing before.
What’s really lighting my soul right now is how close we’re getting to the release day for the Pets in Space® 4 anthology! In less than a month, you can have it in your hands (okay, on your e-readers 😉 ). There’s so much excitement building around this release. I can’t wait for you to read the stories in it.
The more people read the stories and join in the conversation, the more fun we can all have together 🙂 And of course, I’m super excited to talk to you all about my latest Department of Homeworld Security novella, which is in the anthology!
Import Quarantine is book 11 in the series, and I absolutely adore it. This whole experience has been amazing. It’s been so much fun working with the Pets in Space® team. This is really a dream come true. And the story itself is so much fun!
The awesome Deborah A Bailey was kind enough to host me for an interview on her site about my Pets in Space® piece. You can check it out (along with a fun excerpt) here.
There’s much more to come on this awesome adventure. Thanks for joining me and thanks for reading!
